Summer Ordeal This Weekend

Monday July 10, 2006 6:02 pm PDT

We will have a Summer Ordeal with the assistance of Siwinis Lodge #252 this weekend. The Ordeal will be held at Firestone Scout Reservation.

If you are interested in attending please contact Carol Olen via email or by phone at (818) 267-7634.

Staff is needed to assist this Ordeal. Please arrive no later than 8:00 pm on Friday evening.

The fees for this Ordeal are $40.00 for candidates and $15.00 for staff.

Directions to Firestone Scout Reservation

From the Glendale Area:

  1. CA-134 East
  2. I-210 East
  3. CA-57 South
  4. Exit at Brea Canyon Road
  5. Turn right onto Brea Canyon Road
  6. Go south past onramp to 57 Freewa
  7. Turn left at next intersection (Tonner Canyon Road)
  8. Go under 57 Freeway
  9. Continue straight for approximately 2 blocks distance
  10. Enter the LEFT gate (ignore NO TRESPASSING signs and open gate if necessary)
  11. Continue on main road for approximately 2 miles
  12. Go past entrance booth in middle of road for approximately another mile
  13. Stop at General Store / Administration on left-hand side of the road
